The Dorsey Insurance agency was started in 1937 by Dave Dorsey in Waterville WA. Dave Dorsey owned and operated the business until 1971 when he sold the business to his son Don Dorsey. Don Dorsey continued to build the business and in 1981 opened up an office in East Wenatchee WA at their current location. In 2014 Don Dorsey sold the agency to his son Steve Dorsey and Windy Osborne. The agency still maintains both offices in East Wenatchee and Waterville.
